Minnesota Corn and Geocache

By the sounds of the title, this could be an interesting blog!

First the corn. On a recent camping trip we stayed at Sands Country Cove Campground near Butterfield,MN. The campground is surrounded by corn on two sides (lake and woods on the other sides) and we just marveled at the height of the corn. This picture was taken July 24th. As a point of reference, Sue is 5'9" and the corn towers over her.

There was one geocache hidden South of Sands Campground near a very pretty lake.

It is my job to get us near the hidden treasure with the handheld GPS.....

After that, Sue takes over and finds the hidden cache. She sure has "the eye" for finding hidden treasure!

So there we have it, corn and geocaching.

Tune in again soon for another edition of "Now What Are They Doing?"
