A Busy Weekend

It has been a busy weekend....some good and some not so good. My father-in-law Harv, called Friday early evening saying that Molly (Sue's mom) was in the hospital with an irregular heartbeat. We visited her and she looked real good. The Dr's want to do some tests this week. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and funnel positive energy her way.
Harv is coming over today for Sunday dinner. It looks like pork chops on the grill, garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli, sour dough bread and strawberry shortcake.

Here is a picture of the front deck before we stained it this weekend. What a sorry sight it was.


We have two coats of stain on the rails and one coat on the deck so far. I will post pictures of the finished product when it is complete.

True Redneck Tank Top!

This was taken in front of the Gardendale, Alabama , Walmart while she was going to the Flea market.
This is hysterical! Look at it closely.

Now I ask you...
Who sits and looks at a pair of men's briefs and says hmmmm...I can make a nice summer top from these!! On the other hand...$6 for a three pack is a good price!!



Here is wishing son Andy more birthday wishes. Wow...26 years old. It seen like only yesterday he was 25.
