We we up and kickin Sunday at the crack of eight and began the wonderful coffee consumption routine. After be well hyped, we decided to strike out and visit some state parks.
You may remember that we just started our goal of visiting every state park in Minnesota. There are 70 of them so this could take a while. Over the years we have been to most of the parks but we did not document the visits.
Now when we visit, a park ranger stamps and dates our log book.
We picked up Sue's friend Beth who wanted to get out for a while.
A week ago she had her gall bladder removed so we weren't sure how far we would get.
We visited two parks. The first was Minneopa South of Mankato. It was then on to Flandrau State Park in New Ulm.
And now I would like to show you one of my favorite spots...
By then, Beth had enough riding in the vehicle so we started for home and passed this dome home out in the middle of some corn fields.
After dropping Beth off at her home, we stopped in at a new ACE hardware store to check it out and pick up a few supplies.
I participated in a conference call for work then worked on a few projects. Before I knew it, it was time for supper and some chill time.
Tune in again soon for another edition of "Now What Are They Doing?"
