I always get so nervous when I have to hand-write a large sign to display that I'm going to misspell a simple word and look like an idiot.
I recently embarassed myself by signing a birthday card to my daughter with my first and last name instead of Dad. I've even embarassed myself by not signing my own name properly. Then you try to correct it and make it a mess and it becomes obvious to everyone that you can't even write your own name properly.
